2010 - time for affiliates to start seeing the bigger picture

Looking back, 2009 was a very strange year. First of all the global recession took full hold of just about everyone on the planet, and this for me was a new experience online. I expected my income to suffer…or at least for some of my campaigns to slide, but they didn’t. In fact, I was surprised to notice an increase in income over the last 6 months of the year, and I was temporarily confused as to why.
Then towards the end of ’09 we had the issues with the FTC, and the sudden changes that were enforced by Ezine Articles, Squidoo, Google, and many other major players online. Suddenly affiliate marketing had become a tougher nut to crack, and it was THEN that I realized why I had not only survived, but actually grown.

Wealthy Affiliate Platinum Is Coming!

What’s all this…a change at Wealthy Affiliate??
Well, yes and no.
Word has leaked out of Wealthy Affiliate that a brand new interface called “Wealthy Affiliate Platinum” is due to be released over the next couple of months, and it is being billed as the biggest update to EVER hit the community! Don’t panic…it will still be the same Wealthy Affiliate fronted by Kyle & Carson and bustling with over 25,000 members, but BOY are things about to change on the inside!!

Someone sent me a PM the other day asking if I know if there’s an announcement due out of Wealthy Affiliate soon. With over 20,000 members, it doesn’t take much to start a game of Chinese whispers as those that like to gossip spread random rumours. Most of the time I find myself quashing rumours, but are these rumours true?

Wealthy Affiliate For Free update-back from Las Vegas!

Ok, so I admit it…it’s been a while since I made a post on the blog, but (here comes the excuse), I have been busy! Since returning from Las Vegas at the end of February I have been busy applying all of the knowledge I picked up during my 4 days there.
This trip to Las Vegas is a special conference that Kyle & Carson hold every year, and the only way you can get an invite is proving your worth as a successful Wealthy Affiliate. Needless to say, I proved that to Kyle & Carson and was not only invited to spend 3 days with them in the luxury of the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas, I was also invited to spend a day with them alone!!

Niche Q Is Alive And Kicking!

Having been at Wealthy Affiliate for well over 2 years now, I’ve witnessed many of Kyle & Carson’s releases in that time, so this time around I was well prepared for the release of Niche Q and the anticipated buzz that goes with these launches.
As I get both an internal perspective (from inside WA), and plenty of emails from those that read my guide, I noticed that there was significant rise in genuine interest regarding NicheQ, which further proves my theory that many marketers are perhaps more baffled by niche research than they would like to let on.

That’s exactly how I felt when I first heard about the Wealthy Affiliate University, and how it was this wonderful place were people are earning full time incomes online with very little experience.
