What Is Wealthy Affiliate?

The words “Wealthy Affiliate” are very well known within Internet marketing circles, but for those that are new to making money online they might wonder what all the fuss is about. That’s exactly how I felt when I first heard about the Wealthy Affiliate University, and how it was this wonderful place were people are earning full time incomes online with very little experience. Skeptical? I was. So to address that I’m going to give you a brief overview of the Wealthy Affiliate community.
Wealthy Affiliate was created back in 2005 by 2 young Canadian guys called Kyle & Carson. As they worked at completing their education, they also discovered a way to make money online by targeting online searchers with specific problems. This quickly led to them devising the structure for Wealthy Affiliate, which initially was a website that provided keyword lists for Internet marketers.
But it wasn’t too long before they realised that there was a great need for some kind of step-by-step process that would actually teach people to make money online. This led to Kyle & Carson laying the foundations for what would eventually become one of the most respected Internet marketing communities on the Internet - The Wealthy Affiliate University.
Bit by bit they slowly added tools and resources that would otherwise cost $1000’s elsewhere, making the Wealthy Affiliate community a very cost effective way of learning the art of affiliate marketing. Where others seized the opportunity to charge Mr Joe Public a small fortune for a particular tool or resource, Kyle & Carson somehow managed to make it available within the Wealthy Affiliate membership at no extra cost.
And so skip forward to today and Wealthy Affiliate is a bustling community with over 10,000 members all learning how to create a full time income online. One of the great things about Wealthy Affiliate is that it constantly evolves. This means that if a new product or service comes that takes the Internet marketing world by storm, you can bet your bottom dollar that Kyle & Carson will be looking to make that available for free as a part of the Wealthy Affiliate membership.
Although Wealthy Affiliate is geared to helping inexperienced marketers more than any other, there’s definitely something there for everyone. Given the general cost of Internet marketing membership sites across the Internet right now, Wealthy Affiliate continues to offer an excellent service at a price that is very affordable.
